As mentioned, we’re spotlighting the new Lovense Mission 2. For those who haven’t seen it yet, this is Lovense’s first hands-free, touch-sensitive vibrating toy. I know that’s a lot to unpack, but don’t worry; I’ll guide you through everything you need to know about this remarkable product.
As always, this blog will cover what’s included with the Lovense Mission 2, how to set it up, and ways to utilize it for solo and partnered play. This includes using the Lovense Remote App, having fun with a partner in the same room, and enjoying long-distance capabilities. With so much to discuss, let’s jump right into the unboxing experience!
I like to start my review blogs by showing the packaging. The Lovense Mission 2 box comes with discreet outer labelling, ensuring privacy during delivery. Inside, there’s a shipping label with no brand mention, which is a nice touch for discretion.
Before I remove the cellophane, take a look at the front for a QR code that leads to the Lovense Remote App. Once I unwrap it, I’ll show you the back, which highlights some features of the toy, including its hands-free functionality, compatibility with games, body-safe materials, IPX7 water resistance, and a one-year warranty.
While we’re eager to get to the heart of the product, let’s quickly review what’s inside. On the left side, you’ll find the Lovense Mission 2 itself. In the bottom right is the Lovense magnetic charging cable, which is compatible with all Lovense toys except for the Lovense Solace and Lovense Solace Pro.
If you misplace or damage the charging cable, you can use one from another Lovense toy. Next, on the right, is the suction cup that provides hands-free functionality, along with the mount that attaches to both the suction cup and the Mission 2.
To change the angle of the toy, simply loosen the nut on the left side, adjust to your preferred angle, and then secure it again. Connecting the suction cup to the mount is straightforward—just screw it in!
Beneath the toy, you’ll find a quick start guide in multiple languages, along with a storage bag for your Lovense Mission 2. Let’s move on to assembling the suction cup and base onto the device, and we’ll be ready for hands-free action.
Charging your Mission 2 is easy. Just connect the magnetic cable to the base of the toy, it doesn’t matter which way it attaches. While the manual shows the cable running up the toy’s shaft, both orientations will charge it effectively.
Now, let’s talk about how to use the Mission 2 for solo sessions. You can enjoy hands-free fun without the app. To turn it on, press and hold the button at the toy’s base until a red light flashes.
To engage the touch-sensitive mode, hold down the top button for three seconds, the toy will respond with vibrations. You’ll find three vibration levels to choose from: slow, medium, and fast. To cycle through these, simply press the same button again. To switch out of touch sensitivity, hold the button for three seconds again, and you will revert to the standard vibration patterns, which includes seven pre-set modes.
Next, let’s explore how to use the Lovense Mission 2 with a partner, especially when paired with the Lovense Solace Pro. Ensure you’ve downloaded the Lovense Remote App and have both toys powered on with Bluetooth enabled on your device.
Open the app and tap the link icon in the top right corner or hit the plus button to add toys. Once you see the Lovense Mission 2 listed, select it, and you’ll see its battery life and signal strength.
Make sure to check for firmware updates since the Mission 2 is a new model. Follow the prompts in the app to complete this process, which may take a few minutes. Once updated, you can utilize both toys together!
After syncing, you’ll return to the main menu. Tap on the remote control feature, where you can move the balls on screen to adjust the vibrations of each toy. To activate the touch-sensitive mode, click on “Local Sync.”
Now, as you stroke the Lovense Mission 2, it will vibrate, and the Solace Pro will respond in tandem. This offers a unique interaction between both devices.
To use the device for long-distance pleasure, you’ll need to add your partner to your contacts list in the app. You can then send them a control request, allowing them to engage with the toy remotely.
Once your partner accepts, you can both control the Mission 2 or add in your second device for synchronized operation. Click “Sync Control,” and you can enjoy the touch features and command the Lovense Mission 2 together from separate locations.
