Welcome back, everyone! I hope you’ve enjoyed the holiday season and are ready to dive into 2025 with some exciting new content. Today’s blog is all about the newly released Lovense Gush 2. So, let’s dive into what this new addition to the Lovense line-up has to offer.
In this blog, we’ll start with an unboxing of the Lovense Gush 2, followed by a detailed look at what comes in the box. I’ll guide you through how to use this The Lovense Gush 2, and by the end, you’ll get my personal review to help you decide if this is the right toy for you.
Let’s begin by opening the Lovense Gush 2. True to Lovense’s style, the packaging is discreet, with no mention of the brand on the outside, just a shipping label. The new packaging design is a significant upgrade from previous models, looking sleeker and more professional. The front of the box features the Gush 2, and there’s a handy QR code for downloading the Lovense remote app.
On the back, you’ll find specifications in six languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, and Chinese. It highlights that the Gush 2 oscillates and vibrates at up to 4,300 times per minute, is completely hands-free, can be adjusted to fit any penis size due to its open-back design, is made from body-safe materials, is IPX7 water-resistant, and comes with a 1-year warranty.
Plus, it’s compatible with the Lovense remote app for solo play, partner interaction, or long-distance fun, and can connect to games, streaming services, and cam sites.
Once you slide the box open (it’s not as tricky as it seems; just slide from the bottom!), you’ll see a viewing window showcasing the Gush 2. The toy itself is longer than its predecessor, with a stylish two-tone panel giving it a modern look.
Inside, you get: The Lovense Gush 2 with two adjustable bands for securing it during use.
An instruction manual and a quick start guide to get you familiar with the toy. A USB magnetic charging cable, which is compatible with other Lovense toys, making it convenient if you own multiple devices.
The Gush 2 comes with two bands for hands-free play: one for the top and one for the bottom of the toy. Adjusting them is straightforward; just push the pins through the designated holes. Given the toy’s increased length, both bands are essential for optimal fit and comfort.
To activate your Lovense Gush 2, simply press and hold the power button at the top of the device until you feel the oscillator vibrate and see the front light flashing. To power it down, hold the button again. The Gush 2 features seven pre-set vibration patterns; to switch between them, quickly tap the power button.
Let’s delve deeper into the functionality. Inside, there’s a circular component at the top where oscillation and vibration occur. This part is more active and thus slightly noisier than the original Gush, but it’s also more powerful.
Here are some key details: Dimensions: Height – 4.17 inches (106 mm), Width – 2.95 inches (75 mm), Internal Diameter – 1.3 inches (33 mm) when at rest. Adjustability: The flaps can be moved to adjust tightness, secured with the bands.
Weight: 195 grams Charging Time: Up to 77 minutes Battery Life: 110 minutes of continuous use, standby for 120 hours Power: Vibrates and oscillates at 4,300 times per minute. A minor downside is the absence of a storage bag, something I appreciate in Lovense products for keeping toys safe when not in use.
Having tested the Gush 2 multiple times, I’d compare it to the Pulse Solo for similar stimulation but note it’s lighter and smaller. It’s noisier due to its additional moving parts but offers unique sensations. You can use it either way up, though Lovense recommends having the power button facing up for comfort.
My experience with hands-free use was varied. Initially, with just one band at the bottom, the stimulation was not as effective. Adding the second band at the top significantly improved the experience, proving the importance of full contact with the device for optimal performance. After about 5 minutes with both bands, the results were quite satisfying.
Post-use, cleaning is straightforward with just soapy water, and drying naturally.
The oscillation adds a unique tapping sensation, distinct from mere vibration, enhancing the overall experience. If you’re considering upgrading from the original Gush, this model offers a more intense, hands-free experience.
If you’re looking for mild stimulation, stick with the original Gush. For a more dynamic, hands-free experience, the Gush 2 is the way to go. If you decide to purchase one, there’s an affiliate link in the description below; it costs you nothing extra but helps support my content.
